Position Size Work out how many shares fit the risk you want to take. Lot Size Lots for forex, contracts for futures, with the pip value worked out along the way. Risk / Reward Check the ratio between your stop and your target before you take the trade. Fibonacci Retracement and extension levels from two points, or a 3-point extension from A, B and C. Average Price Work out the weighted average of a position bought in more than one lot. Break-even Find the price a position has to reach once commission, spread and slippage are counted.
