How to use it in practice
Use it to confirm the direction of momentum with the context. A bullish TRIX cross in a bullish context reinforces the entry; a divergence between TRIX and price warns of exhaustion. Being smoothed, it gives fewer but more reliable signals.
When not to rely on it alone
