How to read it
The panel shows metrics for the current trend against its historical behavior: duration, distance traveled, extension. It tells you whether the trend is in a young phase with room to run, or has already stretched more than usual and caution is warranted.
How to use it in practice
It serves to time staying in and managing risk. A young trend with room to run invites holding; a statistically extended trend invites tightening stops or reducing. It turns a hunch ('this has already risen a lot') into a data point.
When not to rely on it alone
Statistics describe what's typical, they don't guarantee what's next: strong trends can extend far beyond 'normal.' Use it to manage risk, not to predict the exact top.
