Following a trend is easy to say and hard to sustain. Edo SuperTrend Core makes the job easier: it marks the direction with an ATR-based SuperTrend, only confirms a change of color when the RSI 14 agrees, and labels the length of every trend once it ends.

How to read it

The SuperTrend line switches sides when price crosses its band: below, bullish; above, bearish. The color only follows once the RSI 14 agrees (above 50 for a bullish change, below 50 for a bearish one), so the trend never turns on a weak cross. When a trend ends, a label at its midpoint prints how many bars it lasted, useful to judge whether the current trend is young or already mature.

How to use it in practice

Use it as a staying-in guide: as long as the SuperTrend color doesn't change, you keep the bias. The RSI filter keeps the color from switching on every weak cross, and the duration labels of past trends help you avoid entering one that has already run longer than usual.

When not to rely on it alone

Like any trend follower, it suffers in ranges: it will switch sides frequently and unreliably. Filter it with the trend context.
