How to use it in practice
Use it as a reactive trend guide: as long as the HMA rises and accelerates, you keep the bullish bias; when it starts to flatten, the move is losing steam. The turn markers warn of the state change before a slow average would.
When not to rely on it alone
Speed has a downside: in very sideways markets, the HMA will change state frequently. Use it in a trend, filtered by the context.
