An order block is the last candle before price leaves a level with intent. Most tools draw every one of them and leave you to guess which matters. Edo Order Blocks does the opposite: it only marks the blocks that a real displacement confirms, scores their quality and follows their life on the chart.
How it detects a block by displacement
A zone only becomes an order block when the move that leaves it is decisive. The indicator measures the displacement — the range and conviction of the candles that break away from the level — and requires that impulse before it commits a block to the chart. A level that price drifts away from is noise; a level that price leaves with a strong, expansive move is where orders were filled. This displacement filter is what keeps the chart clean and every drawn block meaningful.
The 0–100 quality score
Not every valid order block is equally strong, so each one carries a quality score from 0 to 100. The score weighs four ingredients: the body of the origin candle (30%), the volume behind it (30%), the strength of the displacement that followed (20%) and how well the block aligns with the prevailing trend (20%). A high score is a block built on a decisive candle, real participation, a clean break and trend agreement; a low score warns that one or more of those pillars is missing. You read the number, not just the box.
Active, Tested and Mitigated
A block is not a static line — it has a life. It starts Active, an untouched zone still holding its unfilled orders. When price returns and taps it, it becomes Tested: the level is doing its job, and how price reacts there is information. Once price trades cleanly through it, the block is Mitigated — its orders are spent and it no longer offers an edge. Tracking that Active → Tested → Mitigated path stops you from trading a zone that the market has already resolved.
The Strongest OB panel
With several blocks live at once, the question is which one deserves your attention. The Strongest OB panel answers it directly: it surfaces the highest-scoring active block above and below price, so you always know the most important unmitigated zone on each side without reading every box on the chart. It turns a screen full of levels into a single, ranked read.
Pairing it with Smart Money Map
Order blocks answer where; Edo Smart Money Map answers what the wider structure is doing — breaks of structure, shifts in bias and the liquidity around them. Read them together and a high-scoring block that sits in the direction of the structural bias becomes a far stronger location than the same block fighting the trend. Structure sets the context; the block gives you the precise level to act on.
